http://pixvid.me/BFFPortland2012 In this recap of the Portland, OR stop of the 2012 Zumiez Best Foot Forward amateur skateboarding contest series, black clouds and rain forced the competition to delay for a while until the course could dry. Despite the wet conditions, we saw many great skaters out there competing for first place.
Dave Mull, a BFF veteran, took to the ramps and rails with a strong presence, but not strong enough to land him a winning spot in the competition.
Art Gordillo showed off his skills with solid flip tricks and gap-to-ledge variations. It was enough to make the judges take notice and give Art the third place ticket.
Coming in second was Tyson Reynolds. Tyson cruised around the course with a smooth style while stomping a bolts-landed switch front three down the stairs.
Anthony Grant had his eye on the prize and was determined to take the cake. He ripped and shredded all day during the preliminary heats. When it came time for the finals, Grant busted out at the buzzer with a crowd-stopping nollie backside heelflip to back lip fakie down the handrail. His efforts paid off, landing him the first place spot.
