There is nothing worse than experiencing pain daily. Physical pain comes with emotional distress, reactivity, weak immunity and loss of drive. What is interesting is that all pain is caused by 3 things: our lifestyle, our actions, and also the stored unconscious mental-neuro programming. I have experienced all three, and while currently am blessed to say that I have none, it is important for us to know the causes, and stay committed to the work on prevention, which is a life-long practice: 

1. Let's start with all illnesses caused by stress, our lifestyle. Scientific studies credit stress to 90% of all diseases today. Stress shuts down our immune system and the ability to protect or repair our bodies. Pain from illness is pretty much inevitable if we keep ignoring the importance of self-care, unplugging from the digital noise, guided relaxation, and quality sleep. I am here to remind you not to wait until its late - please make sure to add slow, yin, stretchy classes to your weekly routine, meditation, regular self-massage, hot baths and the days in nature. The keys to wellness are strong immunity, a peaceful state of mind and a pain-free body.

2. Unfortunately, everybody someday will live with physical pain caused by an injury, accident, joint overuse, bad posture, under-care and chronic tension. All tension we tend to ignore will eventually turn into an injury, inflammation, strain, or arthritis. Fast sports, lifting heavy weights is another leading cause of injuries and chronic pain. To prevent and relieve tension buildup, all yoga classes are great! In some of our yoga classes, we use fun little therapy TuneUp balls to add more precise muscle release work, plus once a month we hold a 90min Deep Myofascial Tissue Rollout, every 1st Sunday at 11am.

3. Lastly, there is chronic mental-neurological-systems related pain like autoimmunity disorders, TMS, Fibromyalgia, some back pain, sciatica and more. They are caused by the unconscious mental-emotional triggers that hijack our nervous system, neurological pain. This pain requires well-trained holistic somatic mind-body therapists and doctors to help us heal, and the best news that both yoga and myofascial work are common somatic therapeutic treatments.
