In 2005 I was the EAA B-17 Tour Stop Chairman for the stop in Michigan. We met servicemen and women from WWII and specifically those that had flown the B-17. We met Harry, a 19 year old flight engineer on the B-17 during WWII and arranged a ride for him. This day in 2005, 60 years later, Harry took his postion between the pilot seats and flew again. When he got off the plane I saw he had tears in his eyes and was very thankful for the opportunity to fly. Thank you, Harry and past and present servicemen and women of the US military. We will never forget...
