Robert Gatewood has little use for idleness. According to Gatewood, "we can solve most of the world's problems by putting every body and every thing, that CAN work, TO work."

In this video from the "Sermon from the Marketing Pulpit" series, Gatewood emphasizes the importance of building successful businesses in the community as a means of putting the young people in the community to work, as well as a way of supporting the community's entire body of vital stakeholders. Special thanks to organizations like HOLLA.ws, and the YCC, President Obama's technical jobs initiative.

Also in the video, Gatewood, in dramatic fashion, demonstrates how to get social media off its behind and put it to work. By so doing, companies can become more successful by assigning tangible, specific goals to each social media network.

According to Gatewood, "if social media is not part of a solution in your organization, then it is part of a problem. There is no middle ground."

Gatewood is a small business advocate and host of the Marketing Pulpit Radio show which broadcasts each Friday at 10:30 am on Radio-One's WOL 1450 AM. He is also an adjunct professor, the author of two books, and the founder of Gatewood Marketing and Web Services.

Gatewood ends each show with his famous line, "enough talk, now let's get to work!"
