So, you've learned that you can add a webkit to Unity3D. It's pretty easy to communicate from Unity3D to the WebKit using UIWebView.StringByEvaluatingJavaScript() but how do you go from the WebKit to Unity3D? In this tutorial, we will show you how to do just that. We load up an HTML file store as a TextAsset in Unity3D (but it can also be an online file!), that HTML file has a text area for text and an input button. When the button is pressed, it passes the text area's text to one of Unity3D's GameObjects which will take the text and then use the Speech APIs to say it out loud. Awesome isn't it?
