Please enjoy Teresa's performance of "別れの朝 (Wakare no Asa)", meaning "Morning of Parting", originally sung by ペドロ&カプリシャス (Pedro & Capricisous) in Japan. Udo Juergens composed the original song. The original lyrics written by Fuchsberger Joachim were translated into this Japanese song by 堀内みち子 (Horiuchi Michiko) and by なかにし礼 (Nakanishi Rei).

The following are the Japanese lyrics, with my English translation of the lyrics.

別れの朝 ふたりは
Wakare no asa futari wa
(On the morning of parting)

さめた紅茶 のみほし
Sameta koucha nomihoshi
(after we drank up cold tea,)

さようならの くちづけ
Sayounara no kuchizuke
(we exchanged good-bye kisses)

わらいながら 交わした
Warainagara kawashita
(with a smile)

別れの朝 ふたりは
Wakare no asa futari wa
(On the morning of parting,)

白いドアを 開いて
Shiroi doa (door) wo hiraite
(after we opened the white door)

駅につづく 小径を
Eki ni tsuzuku komichi wo
(we walked along the path to the station)

何も言わず 歩いた
Nanimo iwazu aruita
(in silence)

言わないで なぐさめは
Iwanaide nagusame wa
(Please don't give me words of comfort)

涙をさそうから
Namida wo sasoukara
(because I cannot stop being moved to tears)

触れないで この指に
Furenaide kono yubi ni
(Please don't touch my fingers)

心が乱れるから
Kokoro ga midareru kara
(because my heart is confused)

やがて汽車は 出てゆき
Yagate kisha wa dete yuki
(Soon, the train left me alone, and)

一人残る 私は
Hitori nokoru watashi wa
(I kept watching your eyes)

ちぎれるほど 手をふる
Chigireruhodo te wo furu
(You were waving your hand with full of force)

あなたの目を 見ていた
Anata no me wo miteita
(as if to tear off the hand)
