All of you trying to make the reference to Hockey or other professional sports are clueless. There's a difference there, and here. A professional player has a thing called a SALARY, some of it conditional but most of it guarenteed; he's already getting his money. These players going to twice a year invitational tournaments don't have a SALARY, they get paid by placing and taking a cut of the purse. Additionally, professional players have a contract that goes along with their salary that ensures they can keep making money with the team for a number of years(and as an aside, things are done behind closed doors BECAUSE of this, they have to play with each other for years). These guys at the tournaments(especially back then) are mostly pick-up groups, pieced together through in-game contacts and/or playing against each other, that simply play to the top of the Tournament Realm ladder(a sort of play-in tourney) and get invited for this one event. More often than not teams form and break after individual tournaments; there is no long term contract or guarantee that they'll have more chances to win big, this is their one shot.

Why would you bring someone that you don't know well (e.g. rages when he isn't doing any better) to any type of team competition?  I'd rather lose with a good friend than win with a pretentious asshole.

I fucking DESPISE players like 'swarm' on Dota, CS and so on. They complete ruin the experience, leave me seething inside, and make me feel like I've committed a crime when it's all completely virtual. Intentional feeding or whatever, fine, they deserve it, but flaming for human error or a different perspective is absolutely disgraceful and below the belt, it needs to be eradicated from gaming.

+Tidalx You're clearly terminally shit-brained xD
Tidalx
flamers just have a different perspective from you, leave them alone bigot
