About DDR
For eight years running. DDR has drawn sold-out crowds to FreeBorn Hall for a night of completion and spectacular performances. With Months of preparation behing them, student dance groups in both Traditional and Modern categories vie for the title of DDR Champion and $1000. DDR's aim is ro bring together a wide range of dance styles and techniques as a celebration of diversity in performance. it is simply the best way to end a fulfilling Picnic Day at UC Davis.


Mike Del Campo Has been dancing, teaching,, competing and creating choreography in the Sacramento area since 1987, He started his own dance studio in 1996, Del Campo Dance Studio, where he is chief instructor and teaches ballroom, swing, Latin and partner dances with a specialization in the rhythm Latin dances, particularly Salsa. Mike is also the artistic director and is in charge of all choreography for the three dance teams he has founded over the years: Sacramento's first and premier Salsa Dance Troupe, "Salsa Capital" (1997), an amateur team, the "Dream Team" (2004), and his third and currently active team, "Salsa Riquisima" (2011). Mike is one of the first and most active instructors in the Salsa community and has been involved since 1995 by promoting, teaching and helping out at many Salsa venues throughout the Sacramento area.

Krystle Morales is a dancer, choreographer and instructor whose dynamic movement, style, and multi-dimensional creativity have won her high respect within the dance industry. Her experience-ranging from videos to national tours, instruction to choreography, and theatre to television-has made Krystle one of the most sought after dance artists in California today. Currently, Krystle is one of the top instructors at the world-renowned Step 1 Dance & Fitness studio in Sacramento, She also dances with the hip-hop company "Press Play," which was founded and directed by members of the world famous Jabbawockeez dance crew. Today, Krystle is excited to have been selected as one of your judging staff for DDR 2012.

Roxana Reyes Borrego began studying Folklorico at the age of five and began teaching at the age of 19. Since then, she has dedicated herself to enriching the Sacramento Community with the art for the past 20 years. Mrs. Borrego has worked to implement cultural arts in local schools and colleges. She has worked with several performance groups in our area, and is currently the director of Raices de Mi Tierra and the Sacramento Cultural Arts Center. She is a member of the Afro-Cuban performance group Ebo Okokan and recently helped train the dancers in the cast of Soot Suit at SCU Sacramento. Roxana works on campus as a community counselor in Counseling and Psychological Services and is UC Davis Alumna.
