GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A 36-year-old Howard City woman was arraigned on charges stemming from a late Saturday night crash that took the life of an 8-year-old boy.

Stacy Lynn Rosset was faces two charges: operating while intoxicated causing death, and operating while intoxicated causing serious injury.

Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, investigators allege Rosset ran a stop sign at Harvard Avenue and 14 Mile Road in Oakfield Township and hit a van carrying the Mulnix family.

Brody Mulnix, 8, of Sand Lake was killed in the crash. His two young brothers and his parents, Richard and Maija Mulnix, were injured.

Rosset turned herself in, then later posted bond from the Kent County Jail.
