With attitudes and laws about medical marijuana changing across the country, there's new focus on whether parents should be able to give pot to their children. Some are pushing to legalize 'Charlotte's Web,' a strain of pot named for Charlotte Figi, a Colorado girl who suffers from epileptic seizures. The strain has a strong concentration of pain killers but is low in THC, the chemical that gives a high.

In Florida, Seth and Danielle Hyman are asking lawmakers to legalize it for their 8-year-old daughter Rebecca, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder.

Fusion talks to Mieko Hester Perez, a pioneering parent who has used medical marijuana to treat her autistic son for years. She explains why she believes pot saved his life. Visit us at: http://www.fusion.net
