Editor Carla Gutierrez ACE, had only a select amount of footage of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for the 2018 documentary "RBG." At the Sight, Sound & Story:Post Production Summit 2019 event, Carla explained how she used video editing to explore the parts of the Justice's life that were not captured on film.

Carla Gutierrez, ACE, is the editor of the Oscar-nominated film "La Corona" and the Emmy-nominated documentaries "Reportero," "Kingdom of Shadows" and "Farewell Ferris Wheel." Her latest film the Oscar-nominated "RBG," about the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and was theatrically released by Magnolia Pictures and Participant Media. "RBG" has become the highest grossing film for Magnolia.

"RBG" is a 2018 American documentary film directed and produced by Betsy West and Julie Cohen, focusing on the life and career of the second female (after Sandra Day O'Connor) Supreme Court of the United States Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. After premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, the film was released in the United States on May 4, 2018.
