Two of Super League's brightest young stars Zak Hardaker and Josh Charnley have joined forces to shoot a Christmas charity video.
The England pair, who appeared in a mini-series of the Zak and Josh show, which has now had in excess of 85,000 hits online, this time donned fluorescent pink and green Lycra and starred in a spoof video of the Eric Prydz track 'Call On Me'.
Their now famous 'Bromance' continues to blossom in what is described as a 'must see' film and also features Huddersfield Giants' Leroy Cudjoe, referee Robert Hicks and several members of the Wildcat Dolls.
Charnley, Super League's top try-scorer of 2012, said: "It was good fun, we all had a laugh and a joke and it was great to do something which benefits a charity like Rugby League Cares. It can't wait to see what it looks like and it's definitely worth a look."
Filmed at Northern Ballet in Leeds and in just under three hours, the final edit has been assembled by the Rugby Football League's in-house production company Super League TV (SLTV). The video, to be released at midnight on Tuesday, December 4, is set to become an Internet sensation and Hardaker hopes it serves to raise the profile of Rugby League Cares.
"We only had a couple of hours to learn all the moves but by the end we knew what we were doing - or at least we thought we did," he said.
"I haven't seen the final edit yet but hopefully the editor has been kind to us and makes us look good.
"I hope it helps in raising awareness about Rugby League Cares, which is a great initiative and both of us were glad to help out."
Chris Rostron, from Rugby League Cares, added: "They're the Ant and Dec of rugby league - a great pair of characters and I think they are great for the game.
"We are delighted that Zak and Josh gave up their time and created a Christmas special for Rugby League Cares.
"It is just brilliant to have their support and raise the profile of the charity. We're trying to attract as many new members as possible for 2013 as we embark on our ambitious programme of work for the whole of the Rugby League Family."
