A-League champions Brisbane Roar came off second best on a visit to Tokyo in the AFC Champions League, despite Besart Berish opening the scoring.
A thunderbolt strike from Hideto Takahashi put the Japanese side level and the same player then set up Kenta Mukuhara. A scrappy goal got Brisbane to 2-2, but two goals from Kazuma Watanabe settled the contest in favour of the home side.
