STORYLINE:
The trial of Marc Dutroux, who is standing trial for the kidnapping and sexual abuse of six girls, four of whom died, continued on Tuesday in the Belgian town of Arlon.
Laetitia Delhez was to to testify how she was held and abused in Dutroux's cellar dungeon eight years ago.
Her testimony is seen as another key moment in the rape and murder trial which has horrified the nation.
It follows Monday's testimony by Sabine Dardenne, who was also abducted by Dutroux eight years ago and survived 80 days of abuse by him in captivity.
Dutroux told the court on Monday that he bore full responsibility for Dardenne's ordeal but insisted he never considered killing her.
Dardenne, now 20, said she only saw Dutroux during her kidnapping, dispelling theories that he was part of a paedophile network, according to lawyers.
Dardenne and Delhez were rescued from the secret cellar two days after Dutroux, his wife and a third defendant were arrested in August 1996.
Delhez, now 22, was kidnapped a week before being freed.
Two eight-year-old victims - Julie Lejeune and Melissa Russo - are thought to have starved to death in Dutroux's basement in 1996 while he was in jail for four months for a car theft while his wife neglected to feed the girls.
Two others - Eefje Lambrecks, 19, and An Marchal, 17 - were also killed in 1996, and their bodies were unearthed from Dutroux's backyard.
Dutroux, a convicted paedophile on parole at the time of the abductions in 1995 and 1996, has admitted kidnapping the girls, but claims he was working for a criminal network recruiting prostitutes across Europe.
The investigating judge has cast doubt on the assertion.
The trial is now in its seventh week.
His co-defendant 62-year-old Michel Nihoul faces charges of kidnapping and hostage taking of Laetitia Delhez, then aged 14.
Dutroux's ex-wife, Michelle Martin, aged 44, is accused of conspiracy to kidnapping and hostage taking of the six girls, but argues she was forced to by Dutroux.
Michel Lelievre, 32, is charged with various counts of kidnapping and rape and for drug possession.
