We wrote this song in response to the huge Human Trafficking Problem we see spreading in our nation. We may feel like this is a huge problem that can't be tackled but we as Christians believe otherwise and we as people see a problem that needs to be stopped. If you can't get involved just share with your friends what's happening today, and if you don't know about this please go look up on it. This is one if not the fastest growing crimes happening right now! We all have a part.

LYRICS:
Walked in place, such a radiant glow, only twelve years old, but her beauty still showed,/
Innocent smile, danced with such grace, even though she carried so much more on her plate/, but what was placed upon, she had no control, taken by the hands of men for her own soul/, bills to be paid, mouths to be fed, momma had no choice, with no ring to be wed/, Shes lookin in her moms eyes, asking why me/, tears streaming down, with all the blur she cant see/, and in the cold nights, on the floor where she laid/, she tilt her head towards the sky every night as she prayed/.

Chorus:Lord make me a butterfly, so that I no longer have to cry. In the air I will fly so high, far from here.. God make me beautiful, let my colors shine and not be dull. If you could just give me wings, I could escape from these binding things

V2
Her once pretty hands now carry every wound, now, an adult whos trapped in a cocoon,
Suffers in silence, as she carries on the day, the only time it stops is when she sleeps the night of away, praying for the God she heard, who calls us to be free, asking if hes real would this happen to me, a tap from behind as she looks into the eyes, of a little girl that she once recognized, the girl says mom why do you weep, she runs into the bathroom the pains getting to deep, drowning in tears she screams to God for grace, looking at a piece of glass, she doesnt know the facea crack of light shines in the room, from above, capturing her heart like a ball to a glove, and in that night before she laid, she tilt her head towards the sky as she prayed
