Okay ladies and gents! I want to thank you for watching our video! Now that there are a lot more people watching it I would like to answer a few of your questions and concerns:

First, My best friend Christy and I have been riding since before we were walking, so we know how to ride. Currently I am on a college equestrian team and Christy is on a college rodeo team.

Both of these horses are ours and they are spoiled beyond belief and, yes, they are trained to rear ON COMMAND. For those of you upset about big bits, direct contact, ripping their mouths and all the horrible things we've done, please turn your sound on. The command for Solo, the horse on the right is squeezing with your legs, saying c'mon, and only enough rein to not let her walk forward. Kawya, the horse on the right is squeezing with your leg and clucking, and the video shows very clearly that I am not ripping on her face. Also they are in hackamores (that means there isn't anything in their mouth)

Next is the danger factor. Yes, this is dangerous. Yes, we were messing around. But lets think about this with some common sense. Someone mentioned that this strains their muscles. We'll, aside from the fact that they are trained to do this and have built up the muscles for it, have you noticed how far we are from land? Have you ever walked though water sweetheart? It warms you up. It warmed them up. The thing that is so great about the water is that it is a great workout for horses and many people use it for rehabilitation. Anyway, another person brought up flipping them over. These horses will only flip over if you keep making them go higher and higher and higher. They flip once they go past vertical. Thats why I fell off, because Kawya didn't have her footing right and she came up funny. If i had stayed on and kept queuing her to rear it would have put her in danger.

Anyway, I guess what Christy and I want you to know is that we aren't some stupid chicks doing stupid things. We know what we're doing, we have been doing it for years. We just thought it would be fun to get a video to show y'all where our piece of paradise is.
