May 22, 2011. Tacoma, WA. Tacoma police officers responded to a call of a large fight and several shots fired in the 9500 block of South Steele Street but only found a gun and shell casings in a parking lot upon arrival. No one was around. This happened at around 4 p.m. About 30 minutes later 911 received a call of two victims that had been shot were in a duplex in the 10400 block of 13th Ave Ct South. Multiple Tacoma, Lakewood, Pierce County Sheriff Deputies and even the Washington State Patrol responded to that scene to find the victims along with a Yellow Mustang and a white Suburban believed to have been part of the Steele Street mess. Both victims were hit with bird shot and the wounds are considered non life threatening. Pellet marks peppered the passenger side of the Suburban. Four vehicles were impounded from the 13th Ave address. The two victims were later arrested for suspicion of first degree assault after running down a person at the Steele street location with a car then beating him. Another person was arrested at the 13th ave location for obstructing an officer. A search of the duplex revealed drugs and stolen weapons.
