User Instructions:

1) Sit in the LoveSeat alone or with a significant other
2) If you 'like', 'agree', are happy or comfortable, nice nice, good good -- then press green (it will inflate the chair)
3) If you 'dislike', 'disagree', are sad, uncomfortable, bad bad, hurt -- then press the red button (it will deflate the chair)
4) When you first sit down the only option is the red button (because the chair cannot be inflated anymore or it would explode). Your relationship and the chair are in the optimal state and so therefore, can only get worse.
5) When the chair loses enough air, the green button will light up (then you can push the green button to re-inflate the seat)
6) If you press red and your significant other presses green the chair will stop and wait for you to agree or for one of you to give up
7) If you do nothing the chair will wait for you to press something or it will do nothing
8) When you leave the chair it will return to normal

Why?
A loving relationship is a journey of discovery, joy, pain and growth. The LoveSeat is a physical augmentation and mental mediation tool for the facilitation of interactions (conversations) between lovers (such as a significant other, spouse, siblings, best friends, or parents and children), between potential lovers (as in a coffee shop first date) or between a person and themselves (during moments of interpersonal conflict). The LoveSeat reacts physically expressing the sentiments of each person to one another in a non-invasive yet viscerally experienced reality that is shared by both participants. This 'Relationship Chair' can be comfortable, mildly uncomfortable or so uncomfortable that it cannot be used. The goal of this love game is to make sure that no matter what happens, the chair stays usable - and so it is incumbent on the user(s) to make an effort to go through whatever experience they are having maintaining the place that they reside. If this is not possible, then they must simply walk away.
