Jackson & Lansing Railroad (subsidiary of Adrian & Blissfield Railroad) operates a freight railroad from Jackson to Lansing, Michigan. The line was first operated under JAIL (Jackson and Ingham Line, or JAIL after Jackson Prison) on October 21st, 2010. Since then, Adrian & Blissfield has increased traffic by over 9%, an all time high since Conrail last owned the line in 1999. Primary business on the line is RSDC, where coiled cars are shipped to and from daily. JAIL operates almost seven days a week, normally at night time though. Here, we see ADBF #1419, an ex-Conrail, ex-NS GP15-1.
