The first test of a shooter for our 2012 robot for Rebound Rumble. We need to make it shoot further! since we plan to shoot from the key. The current setup has an FP motor driving thru the first stage of FP gear reduction (4.x :1) then about 2:1 chain reduction, so it's not spinning the wheel very fast. We will try again with about 2-3 times faster wheel speed and see what happens.
The slow mo shot is a different shoot than the first one, it is taken at 240 fps. Just for fun.
