Why do I bother? Why am I still bothering? If self-proclaimed academics can't even avoid the most basic of logical fallacies is there any point trying to get them into discussion? You'd think, of all people, they could be reasonable.

I am actually legit gutted. Tearful even. I'm a big fan of science and when it screws up it harms us all.
