Seth Meyers, Psy.D. is an author, Psychology Today Blogger, and Licensed Clinical Psychologist in practice in Los Angeles, CA. He appears regularly on television and radio, and in print media, discussing a wide range of clinical issues.

In his practice, Dr. Seth helps clients with relationship issues, anxiety and depression, addiction, and other mental health issues. In addition, his work with the L.A. County Department of Mental Health focuses on child mental health and child welfare.

In terms of training, Dr. Seth received his B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College and his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited doctoral program at Yeshiva University in New York City.

Dr. Seth has had a broad range of clinical experience on inpatient psychiatric units of hospitals and at outpatient counseling centers. His training included an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship that took place at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York (rotations in the psychiatric inpatient unit, outpatient unit, and Developmental Center), and his post-doctoral fellowship took place at the Weingart Center on Los Angeles' Skid Row (conducting assessments and running addiction groups for homeless men and women).

Dr. Seth's early career involved working as a Program Director at a large Los Angeles clinic that serves seriously and chronically mentally ill men and women. Currently, he works with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health in the administration of children's mental health programs.

Dr. Seth lives in Los Angeles and, when not working, loves to spend time outdoors and relax with his family.
