http://toughmudder.com/events/virginia/ Most Tough Mudder participants sprint through the course's last obstacle titled "Electroshock Therapy" -- a field of LIVE wires, some of which carry a 10,000 volt shock. Watch as First Sergeant Victor Wise of the U.S. Army National Guard and his son, Vic Wise, walk through Electroshock Therapy and go down hard!
My Uncle, First Sergeant Wise, and cousin, Vic, raised $250.00 to participate in the Tough Mudder Virginia event held at Wintergreen Resort in Wintergreen, Virginia on Saturday October 22nd.
First Sergeant Wise is a war veteran having served two tours overseas. Supporting fellow soldiers has always been a source of inspiration for the Wise family. In 2010 my cousin Vic ran the Marine Corps Marathon. Tough Mudder was the perfect personal challenge for my Uncle and cousin to participate in—they embrace life's adventures.
Tough Mudder raises money for The Wounded Warrior Project by offering a $25 discount to people who pledge to raise $150. In 2010 Mudders around the US raised in excess of $600,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.
