Please see this film for more information on the nib/feed and air-ink interchange of a piston filled pen with ebonite feed.
For more than a year Noodler's Ink held an international art contest. Forty winning participants received pens and ink (with the top 10 receiving an extra pen called the "Neponset" -- after the first commercial blimp), and one received a massive first prize (listed 1st in the credits). "Rome Burning" was the ink that was sent and each also received a red marbled piston filling pen called "Red Mesa" (a Noodler's Ink "Konrad" model pen), along with a letter from the company recommending them for their artistic skill and merit. There may be another art contest in the future...of course...it would involve catfish - and ink!
