The California School Dashboard is another part of the exciting remodeling that California’s public schools are undertaking to ensure every student graduates high school prepared for college, career and life.

To keep our state’s public schools moving forward, we need clear and useful accountability measures: metrics that help us monitor what’s working and what isn’t, sensible ways to direct and track the use of resources, and safeguards that ensure responsible actions across the system.

Through the Dashboard, school districts and schools have increased access to the information they need to make the best decisions about how to direct their resources to improve the education of their children. This data places equity at the front and center of local conversations in efforts to close the achievement and opportunity gaps.

The Association of California School Administrators is the largest umbrella organization for school leaders in the United States, serving more than 17,000 California educators. ACSA's top priority is advocating for public school students in kindergarten through grade 12, as well as adult learners. Our mission is to be the driving force of education in California and beyond.

“We serve educational leaders in the pursuit of equity and excellence to meet the diverse needs of all California students.”
