We live in a rapidly changing world. Science and new technologies are developing at an unprecedented pace. But at the same time you grow as a person? After all, there are so many resources at his disposal that a hundred years ago would have seemed like real magic. Today, people have access to huge amounts of information, and they can move around the world within a few hours.

All this is true. But at the same time, people are still far from harmony, and our younger generation is becoming more and more infantile. But children are our future…

Few people know that before children under 12 years old knew and were able to do much more than many adults today.

But how? After all, we are up to 18, and even up to 23 years old, and only do what we learn!

However, knowing and being able are not the same thing. You can know how to ride a bike, but not be able to do it. In addition, we get a lot of absolutely useless information, and at the same time do not have the really vital knowledge and skills necessary for basic survival, not to mention the harmonious development of the individual. We all went to school, like geometry? But how many people can remember what a tangent is and how to calculate it? Or what is valence in chemistry and why is it needed? Most likely, only a few people will say YES, because the vast majority of people simply do not use it at all. Yes, we can talk about the development of thinking, but, first, the most developing subject in this regard has long been removed from the school curriculum, of course, we are talking about logic. And we talked about it in the video about the School. And secondly, why do we assume that real life skills do not develop this very thinking? After all, it seems to be necessary for their more successful implementation. In other words, it turns out that in the standard school curriculum, the means replace the goal itself.

Today, signs of infantile behavior can be found not only in children. In Europe, for example, people under 30 are almost not considered adults, they can behave like children who do not care about anything, do not think about their life path. Unfortunately, we are seeing these trends more and more. Not only that, until the age of eighteen, boys and girls are officially considered children, but also during their studies in higher institutions, parents are struggling to take care of their over-age offspring. Everyone is waiting and waiting for them to finally learn something and be able to do something themselves.

The result is confusion and loss of orientation, inability to understand their purpose and inability to be responsible for their actions. And since we have already started talking about Universities, according to the same statistics, more than half of people do not work in their specialty. Because they don't know why they got it. Because when they made their choice, they did not have an elementary Foundation on which to build an understanding of their life tasks.

Let's compare this with the experience of our Ancestors. Why were only boys and girls up to 12 years old considered children? Before that, they were called by the common word "child", especially without dividing them among themselves. By about 12 years of age, they reached what is called 7 spans in the forehead. That is, about 125 centimeters Tall. And they could prepare for the transition to adulthood. This transition was marked by the Naming ceremony, which we will have a film about, which will be the third issue in the series about names. Be sure to subscribe to the channel so that you don't miss it. After this ceremony, the former children were considered adults. But we all understand that you can't become an adult in an instant. This means that by the age of 12, children already had almost all the basic knowledge and skills that they will need in adult life. That is, they already had the very Foundation on which they could build their lives. And realize its purpose. What was the Foundation? 12-year-old children were able not only to fully organize their life, but also, most importantly, had a complex worldview. That is, they already had a huge layer of information in them by this age: they had formed a view of life and their place in it, they knew their tasks and their duty to the Family.
