A little videolog of my experiences with this year's L.A. River Ride, all 100 miles of it. Sorry it took so long to finish, but I was still working on my video of the San Diego Century when this ride happened, and it's a busy time of year anyway. But it was a great ride, I met a lot of fun people (yes, even here in L.A., there are fun people), and spent more time recording and mixing the soundtrack then I ever have on a video before, what with my meager skills and primitive gear. And no, it's not perfect, but you try improvising a 20-minute version of one song and tell me how you like it ("Inna Gadda Da Vida" was only 17:50). Oh, and in case you couldn't tell, that's not a real saxophone (you didn't really think I could play sax, did you?), that's a Roland GR-33 guitar synth. Thanks again to all the good folks at the L.A. County Bicycle Coalition, Wheel World, TrueTone Music, Paul Alfery, and all my other enablers of geeky bike and guitar toys.
