This is my experience with the Mohu Leaf Ultimate (currently called the Mohu 50) amplified indoor antenna, snagging free over air HD TV channels. Easy to set-up and use, it's one way to say good-bye to costly cable bills.
April 2014 Update: I use this product every day in combination with streaming media to replace cable TV. I get all the major networks in HD, and have found that by adding triple shielded coaxial cable (replacing the Mohu cable) I get a strong, stable signal in all kinds of weather.
I believe in 'cord cutting' so much, I wrote a book about it entitled: "Simple Guide to Over-the-Air Free TV". It's available exclusively on Amazon in the Kindle books. http://goo.gl/gHfb6Q
In the book I describe how to setup a flat indoor antenna, and suggest ways to supplement over-the-air programming to cut the cord with cable TV.
