Eleven-year-old Cole has always had a problem in school - he couldn't learn how to read or write in the "normal" way. Unfortunately, even though dyslexics tend to be above average in intelligence, they are actually considered "Special Ed" because teachers don't know how to really help them. And to make matters worse, Special Ed has no idea how to really help them, either!
Isn't it sad to think that, simply by having him turn his book upside down, his First grade teacher might have helped him keep up with his peers and eventually teach himself to read in the "normal" way?
