America's Got Talent season 7 live shows continued with the quarterfinals in Newark on August 14th, 2012. Howard Stern joins as a judge on America's Got Talent this season, and Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Nick Cannon all continue their roles on AGT 2012. Howard, Howie, Nick, and Sharon have traveled across the country in search of America's most talented acts and even had a round of America's Got Talent YouTube auditions.

AGT kicked off two weeks of semifinals Tuesday night with the first 12 of the Top 24 acts. Three acts from each show will move on to the finals. The winner will win $1 million. In this episode the judges brought back singer Andrew De Leon, Todd Oliver and his talking dog Irving, married couple Donovan and Rebecca, singer Edon Pinchot, The Scott Brothers, Mind reader Eric Dittelman, street dancer/contortionist Turf, country singer Bria Kelly, Beret-waring artist Joe Castillo, Harp player William Close, Comedian Tom Coter, and dance group Academy of Villians.
