This is just one of the many cast on's I use. I like this one for the stretchy qualities it has. You can stretch it out after completion and it keeps it's memory. I mentioned in the video that there are 2 ways of placing the new stitches on the left needle and that I saw little difference between the two. I retract that statement as I have recently noticed that putting the stitches on like the beginning of the video, gives a definite knit and purl stitch with a firmer stitch. Can be used for any type of ribbing. Tillybuddy also has a video similar to the last part of this cast on...
Note: you will get the tightest cast on by not snugging up the yarn too tight when casting on... I know this sounds odd, but it made to tight, you will just get the bar on the edge and not the shape of the ribbing. Hope this makes sense to you. :)
