Belt and Road: China’s New Strategy

China’s Belt and Road initiative is the country’s first major attempt to help in changing the world order for trade, says Nicholas Kwan, HKTDC’s Director of Research. In the first of a two-part series, he addresses the many opportunities and risks in this new strategy and says Hong Kong can benefit extensively as a platform for trade, investment, technology and for exchange of ideas.
