In a decade of racing at the very top of British motor sport, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB has delivered outstanding racing for drivers in the latest development of the superb 911 GT3 Cup. In 10 years, the overall champions have been Barry Horne (2003), Richard Westbrook (2004) Damien Faulkner (2005 and 2006), James Sutton (2007 and 2011), Tim Harvey (2008 and 2010), Tim Bridgman (2009) and Michael Meadows (2012). In 10 years, and 199 races, Carrera Cup cars have completed 400,000 miles, covered 70,000 racing laps and made 3500 race starts. The championship has contributed in excess of £40 million into the British motor sport industry. Chris Craft, Managing Director of Porsche Cars GB, paid tribute to the Carrera Cup family of teams, drivers and organisers. "The championship has gone from strength to strength," said Craft.
