Indigo is about Indigo children, a concept from the seventies about a generation of children who look at the world with different eyes. Who would reconsider life's values, create instead of consume and lives for experiences. All we know is all we own.
PollyAnna, the blindly optimistic singer-songwriter from the Netherlands, started on her own. For years, just her and her guitar on street corners and little bars. In the winter of 2014 she released her debut full-length ‚Indigo’, It’s an album full of stories of her far travels. Her single ‚Sing’ was picked up by Giel Beelen, who tipped her as the promise for ‚The Sound of 2015’. Everything went fast ever since: supporting Maria Mena and Sam Smith, Radio 3FM Serious Talent, The Great Escape in Brighton and even playing Pinkpop. A dream come true. Her music varies from silenced singer-songwriter to danceable electronic music which will put a smile on your face. Main theme remains her acoustic guitar. The album takes you to the land of Indigo Children where thoughts become things and everything is as it seems.
