MacArthur "genius" Majora Carter has a long history of transforming communities. She founded Sustainable South Bronx in 2001 when few were talking about "sustainability"; and even fewer, in places like The South Bronx. Since 2008, her consulting company has exported Climate Adaptation, Urban Revitalization, and Leadership Development strategies for Business, Government, Foundations, Universities, and economically under-performing Communities.
Here, Majora uses her hometown the South Bronx as a case study for how to develop a community sustainably.
