This is a short clip from a stage production of "The Woman in Black," adapted from the novel by Susan Hill. Structured as a play-within-a-play, the cast consists of two men - a young actor/teacher and an older gentleman who is haunted by his past - who use little more than the power of storytelling to recreate a ghostly experience that befell the protagonist many years before.
In this scene, Arthur Kipps has arrived at the deserted Eel Marsh House and explores the empty halls, the "nine lives causeway," and the nearby burial ground - until he catches a glimpse of an eerie, familiar woman among the tombstones... Note: the video is rough in places and the sound is low.
