Jon Rauhouse of Neko Case's band and California's Tommy Connell came by the Fretboard Journal offices to perform a tune for us. The studio version of this tune, "Swingin' Elephant Graveyard," can be found on Rauhouse's Steel Guitar Rodeo album.
Jon is playing a Hawaiian guitar made by Phoenix, Arizona's Haymaker Guitars. Tommy plays a vintage Kay.
Look for Jon's first contribution to the Fretboard Journal, an interview with the legendary pedal steel player Bud Isaacs, later in 2012.
