I am an admin on a popular Minecraft Multiplayer Survival server (~600 new players per week, 250+ registered members). Despite our best efforts, we get our fair share of griefers. Usually we catch them before they can do much damage, but we got hit hard by a couple professional griefers.

There was either 2 or 3 of them in total and they used over a dozen accounts each to harass us. Once I started blocking IPs, it appears as if they started using proxy servers to mask their address.

This video explains to other server admins what to look for when dealing with professional griefers.

Please note, this server is currently down. We will be reopening Spring 2012.
