Bill Richardson, especialista en la obra de Jorge Luis Borges profundiza en la obra del autor argentino y en su visión sobre la vida. Visto a veces como buscador de lo divino, otras veces como reaccionario, y otras tantas como un radical subversivo, la trayectoria literaria de Borges abarca desde la vanguardia hasta la producción de poemas y cuentos clásicos.

Bill Richardson, director del Departamento de Español en la Universidad Nacional de Irlanda en Galway, ha publicado obra sobre diferentes áreas relacionadas con España y América Latina, con un especial interés por la obra del autor argentino Jorge Luis Borges.

Su última publicación es Borges and Space (Peter Lang, 2012)

Su obra, fundamental en la literatura y en el pensamiento humano, ha sido objeto de minuciosos análisis y de múltiples interpretaciones.

Bill Richardson is an authority on the work of Jorge Luis Borges and other Latin American authors. As he reviews the Argentinean author's work and his vision of life we will discover a writer who searches for the divine, a political reactionary or a radical subversive. His literary work went from 1920s avant-garde to the production of poems and classical stories.

Bill Richardson is Head of the Spanish Department at NUI Galway. He has published work in a wide range of topics on Spain and Latin America, and has a particular interest in the work of Argentinean author Jorge Luis Borges. His latest publication is Borges and Space. He wrote Spanish Studies: An Introduction (2001) and co-authored (with Chris Ross and Begoña Sangrador-Vegas) Contemporary Spain, 3rd ed. (2008).

Jorge Luis Borges (Buenos Aires, 1899 -- Geneva, 1986) was an Argentinean writer and one of the most renowned authors of the literature of the 20th Century. He published short essays, stories and poems. His work is essential in literature and human thinking and has been subject to in depth analysis and multiple interpretations.
