1 of the 9 clips I shot of a belgian group called "Vive la Vete" in Tivoli (Utrecht). Can't place the music to a specific style, i was hoping for a bit more electronic but in the end this concert was ok. The last song was a new one I believe based on the old pop song "Popcorn" took the roof up. But there were also a few other great titles.
I had one complaint and that was about Tivoli's soundwall, two frontspeakers 3 meters long on the floor played much too loud. I started on a great spot before the stage but standing in front of the speakers. When the DJ played the soundlevel was loud but save. Then they stopped and someone somewhere played AC/DC (what a combination ???) and the sound level tripled. So I moved a few meters back because I could not stand it, my ears hurt.
Then Vive la Fete entered doubling the level again!!! Was the soundman blind/deaf?? Even with handmade hearing protection i was way too loud. Move the speakers 2.5 meters in the air spreading the sound over the people instead of firing through them. How many people in the front of the speakers left the building with hearing damage. I was lucky a few big guys stood in front of me functioning as a buffer.
