Having had the chance to meet Dom Pérignon's Chef de Cave Richard Geoffroy on the invitation of the label to a dinner at Versailles last fall, we thought we'd share the master's passionately intelligent approach to making and drinking one of the world's best champagnes in this pair of videos. In the previous video, Geoffroy tells his personal story and helps explain his philosophy when it comes to drinking Dom.
This one celebrates the launch earlier this year of their 1990 Rosé Œnothèque with the winemaker's attempt to demystify the subtle contradictions that make this historic champagne a masterpiece.
