EFolklore is a collection of traditional local folklore from around Indonesia. The videos were created in a collaboration between EF English First for Kids and Teens and Kastari Animation. We hope EFolklore will be a fun and educational experience for Indonesian children and children throughout the world.

Ande Ande Lumut is a folk tale from East Java. It tells the story of Panji Asmarabangun who tries to find his wife, Dewi Sekartaji. After an enemy attacked their kingdom, Dewi Sekartaji escaped to a village and disguised herself as Kelenting Kuning, the adoptive child of a widow with three daughters. Unfortunately she was not treated very well by her sisters. After the attack ended Panji Asmarabangun disguised himself as Ande Ande Lumut, a son of a widow and tried to find his wife, Dewi Sekartaji.
