This is my homemade music visualizer. Audio is passed in through a normal 3.5mm stereo jack on the back and then sent to your speakers or headphones via the same type of connector. With a preamp and a microphone, you could visualize yourself speaking or singing.

Excuse: The light board updates 50 times per second, so some of the visuals are lost on a on a six year old Canon point-and-shoot camera that records at 30 frames per second (it looks a lot better in real life).
