Mairi Robertson talks to Rowan Kunz from Study TV about study skills, including how she studied for Modern History, specifically covering writing notes, essays, and her weekly study plan.

Mairi and Rowan discuss the following study skills:

- Her weekly plan of attack for Modern History
- Importance of writing practice essays consistently during the year
- Importance of writing study notes each week
- Timed conditions prior to exams

Mairi completed her Higher School Certificate (HSC) in NSW (2010), where she achieved an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) of 99.75, placing her in the Top 130 out of 66,000 students in the state.

Mairi also achieved a state ranking of 10th in Modern History/10,500 students. Mairi will be studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University from October 2011.
