Book plot/summary: Don't have one, so I guess I'll just write a timeline sort of thing. This story is set in the eighteen hundreds during the American civil war. Lorelei is a young southern bell who is getting married. Her wedding is the most perfect wedding she could ever imagine. She is about to kiss her husband, when- BOOM, BOOM, BOOM! Soldiers bombard the wedding, killing everyone in sight. Lorelei panicks, and looks around, only to find that her husband isn't there. But is being held by one of the soldiers. Lorelei desperately fights for her husband's life, but is not successful. Her husband dies in her arms. This event traumatized Lorelei so much, she went insane. She now has a "split brain" (which defines schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder) and is being sent to an insane asylum where she is tortured and drugged everyday. But, will a new orderly save her? And who will she discover this new orderly is? (That description totally sucks. I just wrote that, because my summary is a simple quote. Oh, and if you wanted to add a quote, it goes like this: We are still mad about the mad. We still don't understand them, and that lack of understanding makes us mean and arrogant, and makes us mislead ourselves and so we hurt them. -David Cohen)
