We all need to feel loved and appreciated because it is one of our most basic human needs. It can be difficult in life when we feel that our efforts are not being recognized or that we are not being appreciated, but I feel that the best way to combat these feelings is to start giving what you feel you are lacking, appreciation. In turn the joyful, sense of accomplishment you get over and over again when you do this will be greater than anything else :)
