DC is proud to officially welcome Motocross athlete Jeffrey Herlings to its elite motocross team. Hailing from the Netherlands, Herlings is the youngest rider in the world to ever win the Motocross World Championship Grand Prix (MXGP) at the age of 15. Known as the fastest sand rider around, career highlights include taking 2nd in the EU Championship MX2 and 3rd in the Dutch Open Championship in 2010 and last year finishing 2nd in the World Championship MX2 and 1st in the Dutch Open Championship.
Herlings' 2012 MXGP season is off to a great start, he's finished in the top 3 in every race so far - taking the win in the MX2 class in the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico and France. Currently, Jeffrey is the points leader in the MX2 class, with a slight lead over fellow DC teammate, Tommy Searle. Stay tuned for much more from this motocross rider as the 2012 MXGP championship continues until late September with the finals in Germany.
