"My Funny Valentine" written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart for the 1937 Broadway musical Babes in Arms, was recorded by Frank Sinatra on November 5, 1953 as a part of his first Capitol LP, Songs For Young Lovers, released in 1954. This was his first album collaboration with the great Nelson Riddle. Originally released as a 10” LP, it was later combined with another album, Swing Easy, released as a 12” LP, and is available on CD.
