After 1 short session of jumping I regret ever installing these shocks onto my truck. You can see that the shocks have a very short travel & do not allow the truck to bottom out on big jumps. The chassis & skid plates are supposed to absorb the impact of a hard landing. My Integy SHD (super heavy duty) Lower A Arms are all bent like a bow due to a few hard landings on some dirt jumps.
I would suggest using RPM Arms with these shocks if you jump, otherwise stay away from them completely and get the Traxxas Big Bores or something that allows the skid plates to touch the ground when you press the truck down.
The Integy Upper SHD arms and Evo-5 Shock towers are not bent, just the lower ones. This setup is built around stock plastic bulkheads & I was certain that if the jump was high enough that the bulkheads would break at the shock tower, I guess I was wrong.
