Car manufacturer Smart just announced that they are going to be bringing an electric scooter stateside in 2014. If you're a fan of all things fast and luxurious, well, you should probably look the other direction. This little two wheeler packs a whopping 5.4 horsepower channeled directly to the rear tire, allowing it to reach a blaringly fast 28 mile per hour top speed. The one thing the bike does have going for it is its 60 mile range, which should prove more than adequate for making its way around the city. The scooter features full smartphone integration, using your phone as a speedometer, navigation hub, and a gps tracking device, in case you forget where you parked it or it got stolen. A feature that you'll definitely want to have, as this little eBike will start at 5,000 dollars, just under half of the cost of the smart fourtwo coupe. What do you guys think? Cool new toy, or complete disaster? Let us know in the comments and we'll see you next time on AskMen.
